The Gourmet 8″ Carving Knife by Wusthofis an essential piece for carving the perfect slice of roast ham, rib roast or poultry. The blade of this knife is longer and more slender than that of a Cook’s knife and its pointed tip makes easy work of removing meat from right next to the bone.

Each knife in the Gourmet series by Wusthof-Trident is precisely cut from a single piece of high-quality, high-carbon steel with the latest state of the art laser technology. The steel used in this line is the same as that in the renowned Wusthof Classic and Classic Ikon forged series. The Gourmet line also features a new handle design made of a highly durable synthetic material Polyoxymethylene (POM) which has a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration.

Engraving: Up to 16 characters can be custom laser engraved onto the blade of the Gourmet 8″ Carving Knife to make this piece of cutlery a unique gift, or for identification.
